It has been a while since our last update here. We are still very much in business. Time has been short to work on the blog though between a very busy work schedule and a 19 month old toddler!
To get things going again here is a commission from a little while back I did of a Frostgrave warband.
I went with some bright colors to offset the wintery basing. I rather like the effect.
The plastics have pretty good detail, especially for the first box set of the line. They can be tricky to paint and assemble, since there are multiple clothing layers and if you aren't careful when you assemble them, they figure may not make sense. For instance, an army may be missing a sleeve that it should have. So put some thought into choosing the parts when you assemble these and it will make the painting so much easier.
What a wonderful group, well done!
ReplyDeleteOutstanding work Bob......I just finished basing the Saxons you did for me....SAGA game hopefully today ! Thanks for the great work that you do !
ReplyDeleteThanks Sean! And I'd love to see pictures of them based up. I always feel like the figures aren't done yet unbased.
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping to get to your Napoleonic order once I clear up these Fall in deliveries.
