Additional 28mm Shang Chinese

A catch-up post of the July and August express orders while I work on some bigger projects. These will add to a customer's existing Shang Chinese army.

I believe the figures are made by 1'st Corps.

28mm WW2 French Army

Here's a recently completed WW2 French army for Bolt Action. Well, part of the army. It is enough for the customer to get started with some games while I finish off the rest.

It contains the core of the infantry with enough support options and HQ to at least hit 1000 points.

More will follow, in addition to more WW2 French armies. Seems they are popular at the moment.

15mm ACW Confederate Infantry

This was a commission for 15mm ACW infantry representing Cheatham's Division at the Battle of Stones River. All figures are from Blue Moon, and the flags are from Cotton Jim's Flags.

Donelson's Brigade

Maney's Brigade

Vaughan's Brigade

The whole division

I really like how these turned out. It was slow going with the reduced schedule here since I switched to watching our three-year old and Allison went back to full-time work. But at least these are cleared off the schedule and I can concentrate on trying to catch up over the summer.

28mm Dacian Reinforcements and Original Dacian Warband

Here are some Dacians to expand a customer's existing forces. All figures are from Wargames Foundry and all shield designs are hand painted. I still love Foundry's figures and always find them a joy to paint!

Here is the command stand with a couple of separate leader figures. I did a little bit more detail to these by adding some more clothing patterns and picked out my favorite shield designs for them.

Here are some detail pictures showing the shield details and the clothing patterns on some of the rank and file. You can really go nuts on Dacians with their clothing but to try and keep costs reasonable for the customer I try and keep the more detailed patterns for leader types, then do a couple of the rank and file to pump them up a little.

Looking back through the blog I just realized I never did a post for the first batch. So here they are:
