Warhammer Fantasy Night Goblins!

Another batch of night goblins for a customer's Orc army. There's also some extra netters for adding to the other units we did previously.

Not much else to say here. They are a fun paint, though as multi-part plastic kits they eat up a fair amount of time during assembly. This should just about finish up the goblin units. Now we move on to the orcs and the special figures and units.

Warhammer Fantasy Chaos Sorcerer: Bloab Rotspawned

A fun, if odd, piece we did just for the fun of it. He's not a big as we thought when we saw the box, and that was a little disappointing. However, he is packed with detail as you can see in the pics:

The kit allows you do build three different versions so it has lots of versatility.

Warhammer and Warhammer 40K: Slughterbrute and Hellbrute

Here's two Chaos pieces we did for customers. The first is the Slaughterbrute for Warhammer Fantasy Battles. The customer provided some instructions for colors which made it a bit tricky. There's a fair number of colors and we wanted to prevent it from looking garish. Here's what we came up with:

Here's the Hellbrute. The customer's instructions on this piece was to make it look "chaosy".

Two fun pieces. Loads of details and character. The Slaughterbrute's assembly was amazing. Lots of parts but the way it comes together is clever. No undercuts on the model so there is no loss of detail anywhere.

Warhammer Fantasy Battles Empire Luminark of Hysh

Here's a Luminark of Hysh we did for a customer. Earlier, we had done the other version of this piece, the Hurricanum which can be found here:  Hurricanum

This was a complex piece with over 80 parts. We had to paint and assemble it in stages

Warhammer Fantasy Night Goblins

This is the first unit of Night Goblins for a customer's Warhammer Fantasy Orc and Goblin army. The unit includes 8 netters and 3 fanatics.

Eight of the netters are the old metal ones and the remaining four are built with the parts included in the plastic box.

The unit's command figures

The Fanatics

This is the first of several units. We've split the army into manageable chunks to make it easier to get it finished.

Various Warhammer Fantasy Battle Pieces

These are three of the bigger pieces for Warhammer we recently did for a customer. GW in making some interesting pieces. They are complex, however, with some kits hitting around 80 parts. I've found it best to paint them in stages, doing some pieces on the sprue, then assembling some parts, painting a bit more and touching parts up, and then repeating that process.

This first piece is the Emperor Karl Franz on his griffin, Deathclaw. The kit can actually be made into three different pieces.

The second piece is a Bastiladon for a Lizardmen army. This kit can be made into two variants; the kit is assembled into the Solar Engine version here:

This last piece is the most complex: The Hurricanum for the Empire army. There are loads of details to this kit, including complete details on the inside. In order to paint the inside details you have to do so before assembly. There is simply no way to get to them otherwise.

This kit can also be assembled as the Luminark of Hysh. The customer dropped a second kit off so we can do that one as well so look for it in the future.
