28mm German WW2 SS

Here's a few German SS I finished up. These are the first part of a larger force. Figures are from Warlord Games.

I did these in plane tree camo, with a mix of the summer and autumn colors for variety. I'll be adding more to this project when I get back to it.

June Express: More 28mm Trojan War Stuff

More reinforcements for the Trojan War project. I'm working on about 300 more figures for this project on the regular schedule, but in the meantime the customer utilized our express service to knock out some extra figures.

There are some usual historical stuff here, plus some mythological stuff to add variety. The two units represent Hector and his retinue, and Priam and his retinue. He envisioned these as more palace dwellers, so we went with some pale skin tones. Likewise, the bluish elven dancer is an exotic palace entertainer.

The horses are to some chariots he had done.

15mm Team Yankee British Army

Here's the pics to a recently completed Team Yankee British Army. This large force represents the British Army of the Rhine (BAOR). With 98 vehicles, 89 infantry, and about 30 vehicle crewmen it took a considerable amount of time.

The SPG kits and the Harriers are combo resin/ metal kits. The rest of the vehicles were all plastic kits. Infantry were metal. Amazingly, there were no missing parts in this order (except for one helicopter skid which may not have been due to BF). That is really odd for a Battlefront commission!

Decals were provided in the kits. Some were a bit dicey- more fragile than others and difficult to stick down despite using setting solution. Still, I managed to make them work with a bit of patience.

While I liked working on this one, I'm glad it is done. It is taking up a bunch of trays (eight!) and I need the room to ramp up production for Historicon!
